I remember when he ordered the EBR Sherrif to station deputies outside of theaters to stop the viewing of "The Life of Brian" because it was "sacreligious".
It WAS sacreligious, but that is beside the point. When people use their power to enforce their own ideas of morality, we are no longer a Nation of Law, we are then a Nation of Men.
I don't remember that, but nothing a politician did/does in this state would surprise me.
