Didn't the UN recently turn a blind eye to Russia's sale of 100,000 Kalishnikovs to Venezeula? Or what about Austria's sale of 800 .50 caliber rifles to Iran? What about Heckler & Koch and Fabrique Nationale selling their guns to every 2-bit tyrannical government in the world?

Of course the problem isn't the government. It's Joe Citizen who goes to the local gun shop and buys a shotgun, handgun, or even *GASP* an assault rifle. /sarcasm
