Yep, another one. That's a total of four 5.0 and up quakes in less than 24 hours near the North Pole.

I'm sure you have a thread on these:
Two Earthquakes Shake Taiwan
Two strong earthquakes jolted northeastern Taiwan
early Sunday, sending people fleeing outdoors from
their beds and buckling floors, officials said.
Police said several people suffered minor injuries
from falling objects, but no major damage was
reported.
The two quakes hit within moments of each other in the
predawn hours Sunday, with preliminary magnitudes of
about 5.9. They were centered near the town of Ilan,
60 miles south of Taipei, and rocked the area for 69
seconds, the Central Weather Bureau said.

Uh, ok. However, the
Tugunska event -- of whatever cause -- occurred in 1908.
As ol' Casey Stengel used to say: ''Ya could look it up.''

I hear there are some scriptures which say that during the end times GOD is going to reveal where they are. A lot of people believe some of them will be in Israel.

Oh boy, did my son get excited when he read your post. Says "Hey mom! Maybe old dinosaur eggs will hatch also and dinosaurs will start walking all over the planet again!"

It was a quote from "Ghostbusters." I was mistaken though, it was in 1908 when a temporarily unexplained event happened in Tunguska, Siberia where like a bunch of acres of trees were blown away and people who were 30 miles away got knocked down. People had theories about UFOs and stuff, but it was really decided to be a meterorite that for some reason exploded before it hit the ground.
To: One Proud Son
Thanks. I've read several books about the '08 incident. Was just worrying that maybe I missed something, if 1916 saw anything similar.
I saw Ghostbusters, too, but I don't bring my long-term memory to the movies anymore. :)
