You know, I hear Clinton is immensely charming and engaging in person.

I will never care for his politics, although he is by no means the worst of the Democrats, and I thought his philandering was unacceptable based on security/blackmail considerations, not just moral grounds. But he seems like he'd be OK to go out with for a beer with the guys.

Rush Limbaugh actually said something to that effect.

While I think Clintons character itself is sleaze, and I also dislike his politics, I can not deny that he is a pretty sharp politician.

He knows how to engage people, he can be charming and funny, I don't know if its natural, or if he was taught, or what, but its frightining that the personality he has, he can sell his style over his substance.

Though it should be said, there are democrats out there, liberal, who didn't personally like Bill Clinton and thought he was sleazy, Byrd and Kerry come to mind.

In a sick way, if it wasn't for all his ethical and character faults, and this is scary, imagine how much of his agenda he actually could have successfully pursued.

I've heard the same about satan.

Unlike the Dems, I don't care about style, I care about substance. This is just another non-story in the MSM (still on the headlines today for some ridiculous reason) to promote Hillary by default.

I'm glad Clinton let Bush have the bed, but what other choice did he have? Why is the press canonizing him for doing what any halfway-sane individual would do? I commend Bush more for actually thanking Clinton publicly. THAT was a nice thing to do, full of good intent -- and it did not have to be done.

All of that said, I continue to pray for the Clintons.
