Yeah, this is the first I've heard of the film being marketed as a "kid's passion" but I've been following the production of the films for a time. Initially I was excited to hear about them being produced in New Zealand in the wake of LOTR. Then, I found out it was Disney and I'm not too hopeful about the outcome of the films now. I guess I'm just sorta in a "wait and see" mode.
However, I think this summer would be a good time to start reading Lewis' books to my Abby. :-)
is disney making it or just distributing it?
I bought a new set of the books for elf-boy last year. Yeah, he is too young to read them himself, but I figure I will read them to him sooner than later.
