You will find no enumerated powers in the Constitution authorizing members of Congress to negotiate with a foreign government.

Exactly right. She can't negotiate with the North Koreans, and they know it. They might be trying to cast her in the role of "useful idiot" for publicity purposes, but that's riskier for her than it is for the Admin.

Historically, the President has not tried to stop Congress from taking foreign junkets, even to countries where most citizens are barred from visiting. With everything on his plate, it would be silly for Pres. Bush to spend any of his political capital on such a meaningless fight.

I don't share your hubris. The woman is dangerous, and will help the North Koreans give the President the black eye she needs to get elected.

Would you care to explain a little more clearly? Since I'm not hillary's political opposition, I don't see why my opinion can be classified as "hubris".

And I really haven't noticed that many Americans are impacted by the North Korean opinion.

As you should know very well, Hillary is a traitor, a communist protoge of Saul Alinsky, turned proto-fascist corporate crook, along with her misbegotten "husband." She would do anything to get elected, including offering a special deal to the North Koreans if she does, and making it entirely clear that stonewalling the President, or even abetting an act of terrorism, so that she can accuse the Republicans of neglecting the defense of this nation for their adventure in Iraq, is in North Korea's "best interests."

Is that clear enough?

I don't like hillary any more than you do. But I really don't think I want the Bush Admin. distracted by her antics. Do you really think that many American voters will vote for her because she is friendly to NK?
She'd have a long way to go to make that an issue that American voters would care about.

They might vote for her because she seems more capable of negotiating "peace" with NK, the mantra of the Slave Party being all about "negotiation."

If there is an act of nuclear terrorism on US soil, you can bet she'll be accusing Bush of lax border control and misplaced priorities. She has every reason to ask North Korea to abet that.

Maybe the shrillary(Tung Moo) of NK will see the light and stay there forever. She would fit right in with the Kim Il Jong. I think she should wear the North Korean military uniform. Hillary looks appropriate in commie green. NSNR
