AUSTRALIA could be the target of the next Jemaah Islamiah attack to be launched from possibly Indonesia or the Philippines, new intelligence warns....
Labor foreign affairs spokesman Kevin Rudd told Parliament yesterday new terror intelligence suggested the Philippines and Indonesia as likely launch bases for attacks against Australian interests.
Experts told Mr Rudd that JI was providing terror training to smaller outfits in the two countries and growing its membership base. "The reality is that JI is now acting more like al-Qaida," Mr Rudd said.
Uh, could that be because they have exactly the same motivational ideology? Just wondering.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A Metairie man who sent an e-mail virus that reprogrammed computers across the country to send out bogus 911 calls was sentenced to six months in prison and ordered to pay $27,000 in damages to Microsoft Corp., authorities said.
David Jeansonne, 44, pleaded guilty in February to intentionally damaging computers and causing a threat to public safety, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California, where the case was prosecuted.
The 18 victims of the virus were subscribers to Microsoft-owned WebTV, now called MSN TV. The virus was sent as an e-mail attachment accompanied by a note that said the attached file would enable them to change the colors on their WebTV screen. Instead, the file reprogrammed the computer to dial 911 rather than the number for WebTV's dial-up Internet access."
yeah, a lot of places/important mail rooms got his with anthrax. my rake is that there was going to be 'something' by them last year, late 2003 from what i thought..
it sounds like their talk time is done, it bugs me tons that we are such good people, for bad politial decisions at times? Like, i think something is definitely up.. and big, i dont know if our country can defend against sdomething internal.. shit, i only have two words for t hem,patient and sophisticated.
I wish we never wenr into the middle east.. live nd let live, we as american/canadians are in many crosshairs right now by many silent countries,. but dont discount ready.. its fcked, relly is it me or is it too quiet right now? brakelines snapping again, im a bit paro but current eevnts isnt where i stutter in a convo.. im just seein some crazy shit happen!!
