I'm less offended by what these bozos say (let's face it, there have always been people willing to say the most offensive thing that pops into their heads for the shock value) than by their appalling ignorance and lack of scholarship. This woman is stupid, and she's a department chair.
I tought off and on at an eastern university over the last few years and my conclusion is that much of what is taught in schools is a waste of time and money. And that's because the people teaching this pap are very second rate. I've had full professors insist that SIngapor is the capital of the Philippines and that the Civil War was fought in 1846. Worse many of them buy into the sillest of conspiracy theories. According to one such "academic" we never got to the moon since calculators weren't available until 1972 or so?!?!?
As long as we tolerate these cesspools of stupidity and support them with truckloads of cash this is what we will get.
