Non - P.R.O.P. article Ping! of interest. Elitist, left- wing, God-hating , Christ-bashing, uber-liberal college professors on the loose...

1) "O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2) Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are sore vexed."

{Psalms VI,v 1 & 2}

9) "Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.

10) Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong."

{Joel III, v 9 & 10}

___________________________________________________________

9) "And he said unto me, 'My grace is sufficient for thee: For my strength is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong."

{2 Corinthians II, v 9 & 10}

___________________________________________________________

3) "Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

4) For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you."

{2 Corinthians XIII, v 3 & 4}

17) "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26) For ye see your calling, brethren how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called:

27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29) That no flesh should glory in his presence."

{1 Corinthians I, v 17 - 19, & 25 - 29}

Weakness vs. strength. God's word vs. man's wisdom.

The quotations from the Holy Bible speak more clearly than I could ever hope to. They uniformly contradict the self absorbed, pseudo-intellectual rantings of educated men who are their own gods within their own universes.

We who dwell in Christ will not be mocked forever, nor remain in silence.
