As the chair of Orange Countys Republican Party from 1984 until last year, Tom Fuentes distinguished himself by waging vindicative, sometimes bizarre campaigns against enemies real and perceived. As a trustee for the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD), Fuentes continues his GOP battle plan by launching a campaign against . . . Spain?!
Sí: España.
Fuentes unveiled his new crusade at the Feb. 28 SOCCCD Board of Trustees meeting, when he requested a discussion on Item 10 from the nights consent calendar. The item would have allowed Saddleback College students to study abroad in Santander, Spain, during the summer. It wasnt expected to generate much controversy; the SOCCCD board has allowed Saddleback students to learn Spanish in the Iberian country for the past 15 years.
But Fuentes shocked everyone in the audience when he began to assail his ancestral home...

Well, well, well... the same idiotic culture of greasing up to the crims does exist here in NZ. We had recently a farmer shooting two guys he found loading his quadbike in their ute... and of course the silly state indicted
him.
I don't remember the outcome, but the Federated Farmers provided him with a lowyer and led a a huge public campaign for his exoneration.

The California GOP is now solidly in the hands of the RINO big tent "moderates" and thus will continue to reside in the toilet on elections. The GOP cannot be competitive with these jackasses in charge. I agree. It proves out in the numbers, as well. Here is an analysis posted by Carry_Okie that shows their strategy of "moderation" fails to win.

And if they persist in this RINO/moderates madness, they will continue to lose. This particular pack of RINOs is already discovering that California conservatives, especially those of us in Orange County, have shut off the funds faucet of donations. The message: NO MORE $$ until there is a course change back to the right. Either do it or hope those half dozen or so wealthy RINOs are willing to provide ALL of the funding...
Thanks for the analysis link.

You haven't been here near long enough to have any credibility for this kind of attack on a respected Orange County conservative.
Come see us again when you have established yourself on Free Republic assuming, of course, you aren't tossed out of here on your tail.
Sniff...sniff -- I smell a RINO/liberal/Big Tent troll...
