"Clinton would answer any question you asked. ... He never flinched," she said.

No, Clinton just turned beet red and singled you out for abuse as a lesson to the rest of the reporters.

I am surprised that this senile old witch can recall anything. Clinton never flinched, he just told lies.

"She dubbed the war in Iraq "spreading democracy at gunpoint," calls Bush "the worst" president in American history"

Biased retarded dinosaur.

Nearly 45 years, and she still has no grasp of facts or even basic decency. Talk about a wasted life.

"Clinton would answer any question you asked. ... He never flinched," she said.

Or he'd just lie through his teeth:

JIM LEHRER: The news of this day is that Keneth Starr, independent counsel, is investigating allegations that you suborn perjury by encouraging a 24-year-old woman, former White House intern, to lie under oath in a civil deposition about her having had an affair with you. Mr. President, is that true?

PRESIDENT CLINTON: There is no improper relationship and I intend to cooperate with this inquiry, but that is not true.

JIM LEHRER: No improper relationship, define what you mean by that.

PRESIDENT CLINTON: I think you know what it means. It means that there is not a sexual relationship, an improper sexual relationship or any other kind of improper relationship.

JIM LEHRER: You had no sexual relationship with this young woman?

PRESIDENT CLINTON: There is not a sexual relationship. That is accurate. We are doing our best to cooperate here, but we don't know much yet, and that's all I can say now. What I'm trying to do is to contain my natural impulses and get back to work. It's important we cooperate. I will cooperate, but I want to focus on the work at hand.

JIM LEHRER: Just for the record, make sure I understand what your answer means and there is no ambiguity about it --

PRESIDENT CLINTON: There is no ambiguity.

President Clinton and Jim Lehrer JIM LEHRER: You had no conversations with this woman, Monica Lewinsky, about her testimony, possible testimony, before -- in giving a deposition?

PRESIDENT CLINTON: I did not urge anyone to saying anything that was untrue. That's my statement to you.

JIM LEHRER: Did you talk to -- excuse me.

PRESIDENT CLINTON: Beyond that, I think it's very important that we let the investigation take its course. But I want you to know that that is my clear position. I didn't ask anyone to go in there and say something that is not true.

"Clinton would answer any question you asked. ... He never flinched," she said.

1) That would mean something if the answers were honest.
2) Clinton didn't seem to answer too much for a seven-month period there.

"Spreading democracy from gunpoint" is the latest DNC talking point. Congresswoman Woolsey screeched this exact same sentiment in San Rafael,CA yesterday before a paltry bunch (around 2 dozen) of war protestors. Got full coverage on all the San Francisco Bay Area TV stations. Woolsey looked and sounded as foolish as old Helen.

Yes, that evil Bush spreads democracy by pointing (and shooting) guns at insane despots and genocidal dictators. Then he points guns at anyone trying to disrupt democratic elections. The horrors!

I guess old Helen wants to go back to the days when we bombed aspirin factories, empty tents, and nailed some poor camel in its' hind quarters.

Yeah right... This woman is definitely past her expiration date.

Could someone find out how many news conferences Billy Jeff had during his last four years in office? I recall he was in hiding most of the time.
