Not so sure it's an attack on males. I think there have been many scientific studies correlating testosterone and aggression. If you look at the side effects of male hormone-like drugs you will see "aggression" as one.

About three years ago there was a study which concerned the ratio of the length of a woman's second and fourth fingers and a correlation to lesbian tendencies.
