Many people claim that interpereting the 2nd Amendment literally is extremist and that the Founding Fathers would not want us to have access to any type of firearm we wanted.

The Constitution does not ban anything. It simply grants the Federal government its limited powers. The power to fight a "drug war" belongs to the states, not the Constitution. The same goes for abortion which is why Roe v. Wade was one of the worst Supreme Court decisions ever. Why is that such an extremist position?

The WOT is mostly about surveillance and law enforcement at this point. The patriot act and so on are not military matters. Shouldn't you be complaining about these?

As know your rights pointed out, your priorities are out of whack. I would assume that you don't consider abortion to be murder, otherwise you would consider it a bigger problem than maintaining a federal drug war.
I realize that you are new to FR. I suggest reading some abortion threads here. There are some very knowledgable pro-lifers around here. Hopefully, you'll change your tune on the issue. You won't be the first to.
