NJ does not have the death penalty, does it?

It's live on NJ's books, but the state never carries it out. NJ's body politic fears it as a political "third rail" but uses it to keep appellate lawyers fully employed.

I was born and raised here in New Jersey. However, once upon a time I lived in Texas. When I moved back I still can not get over the differences in the sentences for crimes. It is unbelievable. Anyway if that nurse who killed the 22 plus people doesn't get the Death Penalty no one will.
