Older woman, really young male. This seems to be occurring a great deal in America. What do you reckon is the cause? It is a dreadful recurring story.
Hmmm ... let's see ... "Sex in the City", "Desperate Housewives", commercials, etc ... it's everywhere. This has been a trend for a while now.

Actually...if you go back to historical documents and data...it occurred alot in America throughout the 1700 and 1800s. You can find numerous cases of where a 35 year old woman (usually a widow)...ended up marrying a 16 or 17 year-old boy. Courting and marrying has had various changes in American history. We simply pick up on this more today because the media pumps up the story, and local authorities automatically stamp it a crime (which it is if the kid is less than 18).

It's the glorification of such "relationships" by UnHolyweird and the UnMedia. Movies and TV are really pushing them now. It's really disgusting. If you were being sarcastic and already know this, I apologize.
