You and your producer devoted the resources of CBS News for FIVE YEARS to a story you now say was of little or no consequence? Call me Ishmael, but it sounds to me more like Ahab chasing the Great White Whale, like a life's obsession. Oh, and rushing it to air mere weeks before an election, even though you couldn't verify the authenticity of the documents (nobody is required to "prove" that they're fakes, Dan)? The timing alone doesn't speak to political bias?
