Moose rings twice
It was too early to be the postman, and a family in Buvikåsen found instead that their unexpected visitor was from the animal kingdom.
The family had barely risen from their beds when they heard the doorbell chime on a frosty morning during the winter holidays last week.
The man of the house, which is on the edge of a forest, tried to spot who their unexpected visitor could be, but the view of the front door was blocked by a veranda roof - but he could hear heavy breathing from the entrance stairs, newspaper Trønderbladet reports.
At this point the family realized that they were being paid a surprisingly direct visit from one of the moose that had been roaming around their home in recent weeks.
The doorbell rang one more time before their large visitor changed its mind and ran off. From tracks in the fresh snow it was clear that a moose had indeed been the one trying to get into the house by unusually human methods.
I think I found a new tag line
I use Microsoft Word for my "ping list" names, and it works fine (I use IE at work, Firefox at home). I've found that when I copy the FReeper name and then go to paste it, it's best to first copy it, then (in Word) click "edit", then "Paste Special", then "Unformatted Text". This might fix your problem. Of course, this is a non-issue with Notepad, so that should work as well.
Spyware maybe? Try downloading Firefox (www.mozilla.org) and see if that fixes your problem.
`Hoot mon, a moose? In the hoose?!' Willie
ping list/Word problems -- Just do a Google for Metapad.exe -- it is a GREAT free utility for Windows PCs, 20x better than the stock Notepad. The Options let you keep up to 16 recent docs instantly at hand....
antiVirus updated before download or first use, of course....
LOL!
That stuff's the greatest. :D
"What's that, Bullwinkle?
What are ya trying to say, fella?
On no! Bjork fell into the well!!"
