He is passable but he can be a jerk. About 5-6 years ago he was going on about GPS systems. He kept insisting that consumer units maintains a 2-way communication with the "satellite" and reported the user's location.
A listener called (not me) and pointed out his error. He went ballistic and called the fellow (and older gent based on his voice, and trained in electronics to boot) a liar. He stated a number of times that, "You are a liar, you are just a liar!"
I lost all respect for him that day.
Agree with the caller, though I will say, it depends on the GPS system. A receiver is one way (it receives only), a transceiver is two-way.
