There's a lesser known talker that I have just begun to listen to the last few weeks, Jerry Doyle. He fits into the "deep thinker" category.

And he was cool on Babylon 5.

He was one of the stars of the old sci fi, Babylon 5. Married to Andrea Thompson, I believe that's her name. The tall, buxom blond from the first season of Jag and more recently the third season of 24.

I wondered if anyone was going to mention Jerry Doyle!! He said the other night he has been on the radio for less than a year. I found out about him when he subbed for Savage several months ago.
Dontcha love his humor, as well as his deep thinking and political know-how? He ran for Congress while in California a few years ago, but did not succeed.
I regret never having watched "Babylon 5" hit sci-fi TV series ... had I only known then ...

He not only answers email from listeners occasionally, he's a lurker on FreeRepublic. I expect big things from him in the future.
