By SUN ONLINE REPORTERA GOAT has adopted a baby rhinoceros whose mother was killed by poachers. When the baby arrived at a nature reserve in South Africa, it was lost until it spied the goat through a fence. The pair appeared to communicate through the fence until keepers put them together in the reserve. The rhino is said to follow the goat wherever it goes and the goat looks after the baby rhino, even giving it milk. But once it stops feeding, the rhino will separated from the goat and moved into the adult rhino area. |

And according to the late hunter/author Peter Hathaway Capstick, it is Hippos of all the african megafauna who kill the most people in deepest darkest. They do most of their grazing at night and tend to charge anyone who runs into them.
I've also heard that, and I promise you that I have no intention of getting near any hippos. Stoats tend to mind their own business anyway, generally staying in their caves and using the internet, as well as enjoying an occasional steak and a nice single-malt scotch :-)
