I still believe SAT scores are tied into parental income and educational level.

Of course they are. SATs are intelligence tests. Offspring intelligence is tied to parent intelligence. Parental income and education levels are tied to parent intelligence. And, it will be repeated in the next generation.

I live in NH, the median income is $35,000 in the town I live in, the schools are very good. You get no extras, you pay for sports, $50, the bus, $50, and the property tax is high, per dollar value.

But, people expect results for their bucks and with an open town meeting form of government the pols can't hide, there is no layer between them and the voters, in the last election the turn out was 95%.
