It's color washing; I'm diluting the color with the glaze. I'll just paint it very lightly, so you can still see the brushstrokes. It's really subtle but (hopefully!) will turn out neat. The base color--full strenght--is a turquoise/aquamarine, and the glaze has a little more blue in it. The base color will show thru, with the shiny/light/transluscent glaze on top.The names of the colors are something like "Endless Ocean" and "Paradise Oasis" or something like that . . . I just couldn't resist!

The turqoise / aquamarine colors sound delightful.

You may need to hang a life preserver on the backside of the door, the effect could be so real!
