Democrat Doris Matsui is trying to win election to fill the seat formerly held by her late husband Robert Matsui. Matsui recently passed away - making the seat vacant.
In about 1 week there will be a Special Election. To stop Doris Matsui we need to keep her under 50% + 1 vote. We need FReepers from all over the United States to come together and take action.
I recommend FReepers support John Thomas Flynn. He has new radio ads he is airing. You can learn more about him here:
Flynn's Top Three issues are:
* Securing Our Borders
* Fighting the War on Terrorism
* Reforming Social Security
It's awfully Bill and Hillaryesque - this idea that political warfare trumps the most intimate parts of your family life. Her husband died, and she was worried about pushing opposition Democrats out of the race. Very sick.
Guess what? When GW came to office he has a perfect chance to hit the Klintoon Administration & Bubba on this man, Huang, & probably could have smeared Bubba badly. What did he do? Nothing - NADA - Zip. That's your "Two-Party Cartel".
Arriving at the temple at about 12:30 p.m., Gore was greeted by his long-time fund-raiser Hsia, DNC vice-chairman of finance Huang, DNC co-chairman Don Fowler and DNC treasurer Bob Matsui. Yet the throng of fund-raisers gave him no pause.
During the hour lunch, at least two guests recall fund-raising actually being discussed from the lectern -- in the presence of the vice president. In fact, China-born donor Sherry Shaw, who also sat at Gore's table, said Matsui took the podium and reassured guests that it was "OK to give contributions at the Hsi Lai temple." Matsui introduced Gore as the guest of honor.
The problem was that the effort, called the "National Asian Pacific American Campaign Plan," involved White House officials, namely Doris Matsui, a Clinton political aide. It is illegal for government employees to fundraise on government time and it is illegal to do any fundraising in the White House.

COURT RULES FOR MORE DISCOVERY IN CLINTON-GORE TRADE MISSION FOIA CASE
Rules Bruce Lindsey, Cheryl Mills, Doris Matsui, Others Can Be Deposed Allows Search of White House E-Mail

In his rulings, Judge Lamberth authorized Judicial Watch to take the deposition testimony of Bruce Lindsey, Cheryl Mills, and Doris Matsui. A sworn declaration by Commerce Department whistleblower Sonya Stewart points to Ms. Mills involvement in improperly withholding documents from Judicial Watch. With respect to Mr. Lindsey and Ms. Matsui, the Court found, based on Ms. Stewarts testimony, that it is logical to conclude that Lindsey and Matsui would have information related to the frustration of the plaintiffs FOIA requests on the trade missions.

WorldNetDaily has reviewed a 1998 Northrop Grumman audit of the White House e-mail accounts affected by a snafu involving a critical White House Office e-mail server. The 75-page report shows that much of the omitted e-mail is addressed to prominent figures in several White House scandals.
The officials include: Doris Matsui, Marsha Scott, Sidney Blumenthal, Cheryl Mills, Bruce Lindsey, Erskine Bowles, Rahm Emanuel, Nancy Hernreich, John Podesta, Ira Magaziner, Ann Lewis, Charles Ruff, Lanny Breuer and Paul Begala -- as well as President Clinton. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton is not in the report.
As previously disclosed, Monica Lewinsky confidants Ashley Raines and Betty Currie also are among those who received e-mail never turned over to Congress and other investigative bodies.

Another White House official in the thick of the fund-raising scandals is Doris Matsui. It turns out that investigators haven't seen at least 3,407 of her e-mails, the earliest from January 1997.
Matsui helped organize Commerce's DNC-donor-packed trade trips. And she and her husband, Rep. Robert Matsui, D-Calif., show up on convicted Clinton-Gore fund-raiser John Huang's daily appointment book when he was a Commerce Department official.
Rep. Matsui, moreover, attended Gore's illegal fund-raiser at a Buddhist temple in Los Angeles. (In a separate archiving problem, all of Gore's office's e-mail is missing.)
I'm with ya, brother! Unfortunately, Karl Rove has a stronger pull on the President's ear than I do.
Pre-Election Day BUMP!
