Why am I not surprised to see this phrase in the first sentence of a Morford column?

Lmfao. I agree though, corporate/Clearchannel radio does suck. the only stations I listen to are the local sports station and classic rock.

This is the future:

Podcasting - Anyone can produce their own programming and people can subscribe to it. You can interact - call and record your own voice comments.

In Britain, music radio is alive and well - plus we have this:

DAB Digital Radio

I got my first one of these radios today to listen to Classic FM, a "corporate" station. It's fantastic.

It's not the radio, it's the music that sucks.

I don't agree with that at all. There's some incredible new music out there, it just ain't gonna be heard on mainstream radio. Surely there's more than 4 or 5 Led Zeppelin tunes worthy of airplay on the "classic rock" station on the right side of the dial. Corporatations have killed radio, 'tis true.
