Sure! Why let something like the rule of law stop you? (Needless to say, it will not be you personally rushing to the border with your rifle to murder anyone in cold blood.)

The border fence in San Diego has forced them east towards Arizona.

"Free assembly is one of our most basic rights, and thus trying to disallow in short means they are taking control of the territory with Mexican law and sovereignty, and it would not be surprising if they can succeed, given our spineless politicians and greedy business lobbyists who want more slaves and would be unwilling to support the US constitution and who seem to have more influence over our courts than the US citizens."

Yep. It won't be the illegals the US will expend law enforcement resources on, but rather its own citizens.
Now, where was it that people got upset that the government let the people rely on themselves for defense, then turned around and tried to tax them, claiming that the people were being protected by their government and had to pay their 'fair share'? I think it was in 13 American colonies, a little over 230 years ago.

The Border Patrol does all they can. They do good work.

I'd cross, illegally too.....and I bet you would as well,
if the tables were turned.

Let's just hope no Terrorists come through......

If the government doesn't handle this for real, there is going to be an eruption I fear of violance between these two countries over these unwanted border crossings.

Of course a wall would work. So would land mines. So would aerial surveillance, with orders to shoot to kill. The government knows how to seal the border, it just doesn't want to.

Since moving here to an Arizona border town, I've learned a lot. My first lesson was that US Border Patrol (as a federal agency) isn't serious about capturing illegals, they're just putting on a show to make us think that they are. (Sure, they have token arrests and have hired more agents, but it's still not a serious effort.) In fact, Gilchrist has been on local radio several times, explaining that the entire reason for this Minute Man Project during April is to *monitor Border Patrol response times.* Initially USBP was supporting them, but when they learned the above they did a 180 and have held press conferences blasting them, describing them as a "trigger-happy vigilante group," which of course was reported by MSM.

Ask any Arizona rancher living near the border, and you will get the same response: BP is a joke, and they aren't really that interested in or serious about doing their assigned "task."

Folks, the BP is just putting on a show, and the MM are trying to expose it for what it is. That's why the BP is pizzed -- can you say "politics?"

So I have to agree with the other poster: our government will not back the MM. USBP is against them.

What kind of violence?

You mean vigilantes on the US side fighting illegals trying to cross the border?

That could get ugly with people on BOTH sides being locked up.

Well, it could get worse. If the people see these Minute Men getting arrested for doing nothing more than notifying the border patrol while detaining illegals, support among the population will increase.
If shooting starts ( and Border Patrol agents have been shot at from across the border, so there's a pretty good guess where the shooting will start ), the Feds might get more than what they bargained for.

I know it's hard to swallow, but there's no law against leaving your own country. The difference is the U.S. is getting the "poorest of the poor" Mexicans.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of "illegal alien gringos" living in Mexico. Mostly they're adventurous younger people overstaying tourist visas or retirees whose pensions are too low to qualify for non-working resident visas, and more than a few criminals. The U.S. Embassy, and the State Department, do look out for those illegals (I take a little old lady "illegal" to the Social Security office here in Mexico City, and meet a lot of other "illegal" little old ladies there).

I understand the frustration and anger, but I don't see how anyone can expect one country to enforce the laws of another.

Like mexican snipers taking shots at our Boder Patrol? They are Federal agents and that is an act of war.

Well, then take these snipers OUT. And pronto!

No need to start a war over a bunch of stupid illiterate South of the border losers with guns. Just kill them.
Mexico is NOT going to go to war with us.
