Her and Mike Savage are our version of Michael Moore, and should be shunned.
The use of the word "Arab" does NOT refer to race. There is no such thing as an Arab race. Arab ethnicity, yes, but not race. The constant use of "race-hate" as a bashing term is far MORE despicable than Coulter's reference to Thomas's ethnicity.

1. The outrageous things Thomas has said about the President and Admin.
2. The fact that she is both old and of Lebanese descent.---
I don't think calling her an old Arab is so very bad. Compare that with calling Bush Hitler, Rumsfeld a facist, etc.-which are NON-factual.When have any of the media besides Rush et al EVER called Thomas on some of her lying remarks.
It was, however, not good politics on Ann's part; but Ann does not play the PC game.
I don't care how venerable the press thinks Thomas is, she cut her own throat when she said MANY of the things she has said about this Admin. I think her press pass should have been revoked. That

Coulter is brilliant and a member of the conservative team. While Savage occasionally goes off the deep end, he means well and his loyalties are with us.

Why would anyone defend Helen Thomas, a comtemptible old bat who has done nothing but bash this President since he took office, and this country since forever?

Boy are you brave! I was just lurking this thread, thinking the same to myself. I don't agree with Ann on every issue, and she, like Michelle Malkin, do have a tendency annoy me. If I want to hear a hysterical women rant about how bad things are, I'll listen to myself. However, in Ann's defense, she does have a great sense of humor, so perhaps she was, in her way, making a funny.
