Expensive but effective. My H-H ski pants kept me dry and warm through a whole day of skiing in the rain and wet snow at Whistler, as well as an hour of sitting on the snow with a broken collarbone - last run, you know. I was completely dry underneath. My cheap jacket didn't fare as well.
