LONDON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice cited what she called "firm evidence" on Tuesday that the Islamic Jihad militant group helped plan last week's Tel Aviv suicide bombing from Syria. "There is firm evidence that Palestinian Islamic Jihad, sitting in Damascus, not only knew about the attacks, but was involved in the planning," Rice told ABC News in an interview according to an excerpt provided by the U.S. television network.

"Cupcakes?" Rice balls.Actually, Brad, the URL for your image indicates these are sweet rice balls. Doubly appropriate, because:
1. ain't Condi?
2. that's a Dim Sum platter that's pictured and most dim sum usually is a bit sweet

I'm not sure yet that she is the most powerful as we have had some pretty powerful SOS's. However, she is great so far.Your exchange got me interested so I got a list of former SOS's at Dept of State's web site. Lot of mojo folks on that list. Looking at the early SOS's, it appears the position was then a stepping stone to the White House.

Interesting list. But certainly not in the 20th. century did any of these make it to the white house.
I would have loved to see Haig get there tho.

Yeah right, to protect Lebanon against Israel... Lebanon's religiously diverse, affluent, western-friendly democracy was subjugated by Syrian Islamofascist Blitzkrieg to make sure they don't get taken over by Israel, or American Marines? I'll leave you now to go watch more Al Jazeera News.

"If Syria allows Hezbollah to work unimpeded, they will be under the gun for terrorism, and if they back off, they may well find themselves under siege by the militants who want to kill Jews."
Sort of cool to watch another group of baddies lose to Bush and stew in their own pot.

Last time Syria invaded Israel back in the Old Testament they lost 185,000 soldiers and Israel never shot an arrow or threw a spear.
It's a wonder what God will do for his people and for Christians.
