ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a writer named Tom Jackson who has a disabled daughter and is for saving Terri.
>>Barbara Coombs Lee, president of Compassion in Dying<<
Why she must be representing the Hemlock Society! I love the name change. Easier to fool people that way!
Floridians have been fooled for far too long! Go to the link and see what I mean.

"You have reached the web site for End-of-Life Choices and Compassion In Dying."
"We are pleased to announce that End-of-Life Choices and Compassion In Dying have unified. Our new organization is called Compassion & Choices."
LOL! I can tell by all the exclamation marks after your comment!
LOL....my father didn't nickname me " Dunamous" for nothing! Dynamite I can be when cornered!
Thanks for finding and posting that. btw...my little seedlings say "hi"!
I can't attend tomorrow but there's a buzz that it's better if Greer keeps the DCF files sealed. Greer should give DCF the 60 days they requested and leave the media in the dark. They haven't been interested in Terri much until this go around. The Death Warrant has been around since February of 2000. The media hasn't been.
So far, Greer hasn't bowed to Felos on those but Greer has said "the law of the case is that she will die." compassionate judge at work.
The left wing is trying to build an empire here, abortions and euthanasia - a haven for the secularists who want to CHOOSE who lives or dies.
I agree. The judge should at least see what the state finds out in those 60 days.
Hmmm. Just the way they worded their lawsuit makes it seem like that though.
hi -- ping here -- this ties in w/your excellent #45 at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1353258/posts?page=45#45 -- can you post that here, too?
You have a right to be suspicious since George Greer would not even allow the DCF Lawyers to speak on behalf of Terri in Court the day of the last hearing. I cannot see him having any change of heart here. It is STILL TIME FOR JEB BUSH HIMSELF to enforce a Protective Order for Terri and taking control of her protection as a disabled citizen of Florida, HIMSELF !!
The Hemlock Society is about as compassionate as a RATTLESNAKE.
They love to use words like *choice* and *compassion*, when they really mean just the opposite. STARVING TERRI TO DEATH is NOT about compassion or choice. It's about Abuse and Horror.
I wonder how many people will be fooled into a false sense of security by signing up with the *end of life* garabage. Imagine someone needing only a few days of life support and getting none. Most likely their family would NOT be able to fight for their loved one. I've heard you should NEVER sign a living will, unless you designate a person you trust with the *power of attorney* over it.
I can't believe people buy into their hedious AGENDA. People like Soros and Felos will NOT be happy until most of the population of this planet has gone bye bye. :( :(
Thanks for the article.

Great Interest in End-of-Life Debate
By Robin Williams Adams
The Ledger
BARTOW -- The author of Oregon's physician-assisted dying law drew applause at a Monday forum when she said she shudders at politicians "getting involved in the most intimate, private end-of-life decisions."
The former state legislator who shepherded "Terri's Law," which temporarily let Gov. Jeb Bush do just that in the legal tangle surrounding Terri Schiavo's feeding tube, drew rebukes when he defended the law.
The opposing views of Barbara Coombs Lee, president of Compassion in Dying, and Johnnie Byrd, who was speaker of the Florida House, set the tone Monday night for the Tiger Bay Club of Polk County's program on end of life.
They were on a six-person panel that included three physicians.
Lee considers the law, which the Florida Supreme Court declared unconstitutional last year, an intrusion.
Byrd said legislators were clarifying their position on existing state laws and questioning the motive of Schiavo's husband in removing her feeding tube.
"The whole issue was that case seemed to be replete with conflict of interest," he said.
That drew a sharp response from panelist Dr. David McGrew, a Florida specialist in pain management and end-of-life care, who said conflict-of-interest can exist in many decisions made by family.
Existing state law already has provisions to challenge a surrogate's decisions, he said.
"It didn't require a new law and we don't need another new law," said McGrew, who in 2000 became president of Hospice and Palliative Physician Services.
"What we need is application of the law we have."
While Lee and Byrd were far apart on Terri's Law, much of the panel's discussion dealt with questions for which panelists agreed there aren't easy answers.
