How does a toothless cat get a new set of choppers?

As long as it's provided with proper cat food (and small sized pellets of dry food will suffice), a toothless cat can do fine. Most cats with teeth swallow dry food pellets whole anyway, and cats can handle canned/wet fod with just their tongues. I had an ancient cat (20+) that only two teeth left (one molar, one fang), and he managed to eat with no trouble.
