OK. While I understand your sympathy for the little vermin, where in the Constitution is a 17yo murder precluded from being put to death by a State?
Oh, i don't ahve sympathy for any little murderer. I just don't think we should be putting to death under 18 year olds.
My guess is that their decision was based on an interpertation of the 8th amendment, which reads
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
I live my life in Christ, and he said "You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also; and if anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, give your cloak as well; and if anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second mile. Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not refuse anyone who wants to borrow from you. " (in Matthew 5:38).
It's not the place of men to kill other men, or children, even if those people have killed. God is the one who gives justice and vengence. I don't worry about not killing murderers, because I know that those people will get their justice in Hell.
