This person is just baiting all here who support letting Terri live. Best to ignore someone who chooses to be ignorant of the facts in this case.
It's called nitpicking to death the details, to try to get one distracted off the fact that it is using a false premise as the basis for it's argument.
you're right that jbane is CHOOSING to be ignorant -- goodness knows, everyone has been extraordinarily nice! But actually, on this thread, jbane served a good purpose -- it allows anyone else who isn't quite sure to see both sides for him/herself and come to a better understanding of the situation. It allows me to consider, reconsider what I know, how I know it.
iow, bane was not a bane to me or to Terri, but to himself. the question is, will it go for the ultimate self destruct? over THIS?
Yes, you may be right. The first thing that happens
with these "baiters" is they start out with a polite,
innocent-like commentary in opposition.
Then you try to let them know the truth or point them in the right direction and they post back and forth getting uglier each time.
I am making a point to not respond to any more posts that are in any way in opposition to supporting Terri.
Terri doesn't have time to waste and neither do I in fighting for her cause.
These people with their questionable comments that are easily diputed with proof a thousand times over should not even be addressed any more.
They either know the truth, and its a waste of time to tell them anything, or they are too close-minded to look anything up.
