May well be. I do think Mr. Roberts is not being dishonest, but concerned about the conclusions he's come to. As far as the data he uses to come to those conclusions are related to Mr. Bush's actions and policies, I think he despairs of Mr. Bush's presidency.

I see nothing at all wrong with that process of thought. We do not live in a country where we swear fealty to a sovereign, thank God.
