too bad Chafee didnt step down and this guy appoints someone new - not going to happen but what the heck a guy can dream

There aren't many, if any, strong conservative Republicans in this state. Even the state GOP holds its nose and backs Chafee. We're flanked and beset by gutless turds here in this pitiful state.

Our best bet is if the Governor runs for Senate, or if the bat-shit-crazy mayor of Cranston, Steve Laffey, decides to throw his hat in. Laffey's a nutbag, but he's conservative - with a special dislike for Union Thuggery. He's psycho enough to do it. I love the guy - he's never at a loss for words, and he'll always speak his mind. Not a single "PC" bone in his body.

Unless a true conservative runs against Chafee, I'm voting for Langevin. Better an honest Democrat than a limp-wristed, yellow-bellied RINO.
