That really is an interesting comparison though between 'secular' Turkey and Iran and how gov't sponsored religion actually turns people off. Maybe the ACLU is actually doing The Lord's work? :-)

I am starting to think that the demise of the mullahs' power may be more along the lines of East Germany's Egon Krenz (ignored to the point of complete irrelevancy) than that of Romania's Ceaucescu (multiple 7.62mm impacts). The former will work just as well.
