Based on nothing other than pure speculationn, I anticipate a coup in Syria within a year.

Definitely regime change of some sort. If Bashir tries to make nice by making a nationally televised speech announcing Lebanese withdrawal, ejection of foreign terrorists, etc, he'll be seen as losing his grip, and the whole mess will come apart, perhaps leading to a military coup. I expect him to take a hard line, not least because Syria is in on the plan (with Egypt and Saudi Arabia) to attack Israel again.

It's too late to attack Israel....there are American Army Posts and American Air Forces Bases INSIDE of Iraq...and they won't be leaving anytime soon...they have run out of time...IMHO
