Bill to Keep Schiavo Alive Defeated (Passes FLA House, Defeated in Senate)
21 Florida Senators voted to murder Terri by starvation.
I'm getting lost in the thread...
So if not posted yet....
This is the deal on SB2128------
SB804 was an amendment which was not passed.
According to this article with the google instructor's quotes

That bill was too broad for many senators because it would have affected too many people.
St. Petersburg Senator Jim Sebesta said that's why it was voted down, and voting down the amendment essentially votes down the bill.
"The focus was on the amendment," said Sebesta. "Do we tighten down on the bill that we got from the House of Representatives or not? It was an interesting strategic move. But on a vote, I think it was like 21-17 or something like that, the amendment was defeated. The bill as of right now is pretty much dead."
Sebesta said the effort to create a bill to keep Schiavo alive was created too late to succeed.
Sebesta said there's a remote possibility the bill could be considered again Friday. For that to happen, a senator that voted against the amendment would have to call for a reconsideration, which Sebesta said is highly unlikely.
It was a roll call vote but they don't have posted who voted which way on 804.

I will call and call again tomorrow.
The Florida Senate can't accomplish what the U.S. Senate did?
Hogwash!!
