Yes, "snow" is a slang term medical people use to describe giving lethal amounts of morphine to someone to slow and eventually stop their breathing in an attempt to make death less painful.
In France a few years back, we were with a doctor friend of ours visiting a very poor and alcoholic lady (and baptizing her.) and as she lay quiet, the doctor friend showed us the iv hookup and pointed to the fluid, morphine. He was saddened but realistic and showed us how the dose was lethal. The hospital staff simply was killing her. Nobody to complain to, nobody to hear the outrage. Nobody there would fight it. She died right away, but baptized.

You say less painful.... Would that ALSO BE TO DIE FASTER??
I believe in some cases it's to deliberately hasten death. A friend of ours died of cancer about 6 months ago. He took very little morphine those last few days. He didn't want to take it. He was at home when he died. I disagree with the practice of Hospice or Doctors to decided what's best for a person. Why not allow the person to make that decision. I've been sobbing over what Clearwater, Florida has in store for Terri. How dare they plan to harm Terri.
SOMEONE IN THAT STINKING TOWN BETTER DO SOMETHING TO HELP TERRI.
THE DCF HAS THE AUTHORITY. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO ACT. IF THEY DON'T ACT, GOV JEB BUSH BETTER DO SOMTHING.
JEB BUSH CAN SEND IN THE NATIONAL GUARD.
