You see, the place where she was kept would have been liable if she had died in that manner. So they would not have followed Michael's orders to let that happen to her, and Michael himself could have been criminally charged if he were responsible for letting her die that way.
My Reply: I couldn't agree for certain on this. All the previous affidavits etc. I have read indicates that Michael was a real tyrant with nursing staff. Has anybody that you can recall ever disobeyed a health care order from Michael, unless it came from a Judge?
Perhaps I did not make myself clear. I didn't claim that Michael ordered them to feed her by mouth and they ignored his order and put in a tube. I tried to say just the opposite. Michael wanted the tube in for the reasons I stated - her case was a difficult one and I'm sure he was told that she might die if the feedings weren't taken properly by her body. Micheal wanted her dead, but NOT THAT WAY!. He could be liable and the care facility could be liable. And the facility did not want that to happen either(her to die THAT WAY); you see, then, Michael and the staff would have agreed on the feeding tube. And the neat part for them, too, is how George Felos got this inserted in a bill that feeding tubes be considered artificial means of prolonging life, when they never had before. And the best part was they had Judge Greer in their pocket to bring about Terri's death "legally", and under claim that Terri herself would want her own death.
