Too bad Rice ran unopposed for his house seat. I bet Michael would have contributed to Rice's campaign. I wonder if RICE IS planning on blocking bill 701 for Michael and j. greer.

Please spread the word:

Terri is in danger and Michael is inviting Jeb to visit Terri and blasting him at the same time. Terri needs protective custody and the Governor needs to assign a special prosecutor.

From another:

Re: Niteline

Michael teased us with almost tears on Nightline tonight? I mean... it was difficult not to roll on the floor laughing one's rear off, don't you agree??? Did you watch his eyes? Did you look at him???? He looks like a pale pasty plastered on the wall of conversation and he doesn't even know anymore that lots of people don't care what he has to say. He has become a joke.

From another:

Re: Good Morning America

I just watch a tape message from Terri's husband and now more then ever I believe he is just getting rid of his excess baggage. He says he loves her and will always love her. Then blasted the governor and made remarks against people who are fighting for Terri to live. He says he will receive no money after her death. He has bags under
his eyes and tears in his eyes ... so let him carry the shame of what he has done if this goes through on Friday.

Bless Terri!

Dianne in CT

REPUBLICAN PHONE NUMBERS FOR THE DAY. Ask them to toss GEORGE GREER OVERBOARD because he's ruining the national and the Florida Republican Party. Judge Greer is a criminal. The GOP can afford to lose this waste of a human being. This is about politics and Greer should be in a comfy JAIL CELL.

NATIONAL GOP PARTY: 1-202-863-8614

FLORIDA GOP PARTY: 1-850-222-7920

PINELLAS COUNTY GOP HQ: 727-539-6009.

They need to hear from Republicans that not all republicans are GOOD and that SOME ARE INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT, LIKE GEORGE GREER. Toss him overboard and RESTORE THE GLORY OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

I just got back from Florida late last night. The Tallahassee rally was very nice. I met some nice folks from Gainesville and Panama City (?). I will try to post some pics later on my blog...

Also took the trip down to Pinellas Park and did see the orange barricade fencing. (As a wife of a police officer, this fencing is for crowd control. If the crowd gets out of hand, they take the fencing out of the ground and wrap everyone up in it- be careful everyone!) I had hoped to stay at the hospice for a while, but we got lost way too many times and then had a plane to catch... I am there in spirit, though. Keep up the good work down there, everyone!

It was a very spiritual experience for me. I know that there is power in numbers, and I know this will all work out well for Terri!

The Schindlers are amazing people....

Thanks for the heads up. I was down there yesterday for awhile. I had no idea that they might try to wrap people up in the orange fencing. Wasn't all the orange fencing really a bit much? They must be afraid of Christians and people who are for justice.

No, No, No, MRS has NO SHAME at all. The "bags" under the eyes mean little: probably just a factor in his own brand of aging. What could make him anxious is awaiting the money he is expecting over the next months! He may not be able to spend it all! The one who is probably upset is "Miss Jodi" because she fears the legislature will again stop this "act of compassion." She may recall her late mother's role in ordering the Schindlers around between Oct. 15-21, 2003.

We're working hard on The Empire Journal site. It's back up somewhat for now. It will be up and down all day while we're in the process of securing it. For now, you can access the Schiavo articles at http://www.theempirejournal.com/greer_schiavo_articles.htm

you can access the newest ones at the regular address at www.theempirejournal.com but the site is not all there

An ultimate irony would be if Everett Rice is not in Tallahassee on the day of the vote. There is little doubt that Rice will join the Democrat minority in opposition to this second "Terri's Law." Rice is a foremost admirer of George W. Greer.

You are quite right, FV, this is a Republican problem.

The Republican National Headquarters now has a list of statues broken by Greer. If you wish to send comments as well, the address is info@gop.com.

I advised them that this list has also been sent to the Department of Justice.

Greer is not only a national problem, he is causing the State of Florida to be an abomination in the eyes of the entire world by being complicit in the murder of Terri.

Medical Ethicist Argues Against Federal Review of Schiavo Case
By Susan Jones
CNSNews.com Morning Editor
March 16, 2005

(CNSNews.com) -- The man who chairs the medical ethics department at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine will tell the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday why he thinks the federal government should stay out of the Terri Schindler Schiavo case - and others like it.

Arthur L. Caplan, Ph.D., is testifying against House Bill 1151, "The Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act," which would allow federal intervention in cases like Schiavo's, where state courts have ruled in favor of terminating life support.

Unless the courts or lawmakers intervene, Schiavo -- a severely brain-damaged woman who breathes on her own but cannot swallow -- will have her feeding and hydration tube removed on Friday afternoon.

Terri's family and many pro-life supporters say starvation is a cruel and unnecessary death for Terri, who -- according to video shot by her parents -- is awake and appears to respond to her mother's touch.

But Terri's husband Michael insists that Terri, years ago, told him she would not want to live on life support.

The Florida courts have consistently sided with Michael Schiavo, who refuses to transfer guardianship to Terri's parents, as they have begged him to do. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to intervene in the case.

Efforts to save Terri's life now involve the Florida Legislature, where a bill aimed at preventing the removal of Terri's feeding tube is advancing; and in the U.S. Congress, where lawmakers are considering a bill that would give federal courts the right to review Terri's case.

But medical ethicist Arthur Caplan says the federal measure, if passed, will threaten Americans' ability to exercise a well-established right to refuse medical treatment.

People who are unable to communicate their wishes about medical care should not be denied the right to do so, Caplan will argue. He said the proposed legislation "inappropriately calls for the intrusion of federal courts into matters that have historically been given to states to manage."

Michael Schiavo invites Florida Governor to visit Terri in person.

You know.....some how I just don't TRUST this person. It sounds like a set up to me. I mean think of it. If he can ORDER what Terri takes, or doesn't, what is the chance that he could have her sedated heavily or slip her something before he were to arrive. I may be out in left field, but I do not have any confidence in Michael!!!!!!!!
