The no starvation bill got out of committee in the FL House. They are just commenting that the vote was 7-4, which means 4 on the committee voted against it, even though it passed to the floor.
I want to thank all you nice FReepers for helping me with links, postings, computer advice etc--I appreciate each one of you! I wish when I post anything that you think should have its seperate thread please go on and post a thread for it. If its breaking news..by all means please do the same ..post it in breaking news because if you wait on me to try to post it will be old as yesterdays newspaper-lol

I would think that Greer denying DCF 60 days would be the straw that broke the camel's back. It would truly show him for what he is, a renegade! I can't ever recall in any of Florida's high profile child abuse/neglect cases any judge bucking DCF. I don't think they will miss this opportunity to redeem themselves.
The phone number for the DCF office in Pinellas County (same county as Terri) is 727-588-7078.
Then we wouldn't have the satisfaction of watching Greer self destruct.
Greer will be a fool to dismiss DCF's petition for intervention. But that's what he's proved to be all these years - a fool.
The bill still has 2 more committees to go through before it gets to the floor for a vote.
Pollywog Ping to #3887 to clarify my previous post to you.
Ok, didn't know about the other committees. Anyway, it passed one committee 7-4.
Thanks PYP! I am really so exhausted that I feel I am needing " walked" around this site tonight by ya'all!!! Will go there.
Thanks txrangerette. headed to 3887.
I realize that but his dishonor has done his best to ignore and then he puts off ruling on this investigation. Do you suppose he will fax his no to them tomorrow? I looked that that ABC article and with the picture of Greer and it might be the lights but his dishonor is very red in the face and he looks angry. Greer knew what he was doing when he would not let that lawyer speak for DCF that day because the next day he issued the execution order...that makes it harder...can they trump Greer's execution order?
You're right!
I'm having so much fun watching the changes in DJ MacWoW tagline. I need these laughs, DJ MacWoW, keep'em coming :)
And--"Life support? Did YOU have life support this morning? Normal people call it breakfast."--I read this to my family and they are still LOLOL. (bet you can them too?) :)
Thanks for the train info...I tried getting a seat and there were none. I will be driving down, and will probably get there early Sunday morning.
THANK YOU!! I'm going to look into that right away!! I've had dreadful luck with trains and airlines so far!
Amen

The sign "In God We Trust" hangs in State Rep. Dennis Baxleys office. Baxley is receiving hundreds of e-mails for his efforts to keep Terri Schiavos feeding tube from being removed.

Thank you. A little levity now and then refreshes all of us.
you are going great guns! keep up the good work!
I just read the news (no oral food, no medical testing despite new technology, no reconsidering of error), and this is the last item. I was just thinking the same thing you are. When Greer says no to this (and I believe all indications are pointing to him ruling "no" - he's THAT far gone), he'll be toast. This is IT folks. Pray very hard. Watch very carefully.
I may be wrong, but I just have this feeling....
