Dean Spoke Racist Remarks
AFRICAN AMERICANS DEMAND APOLOGY FROM HOWARD DEAN FOR RACIALLY INSENSITIVE REMARKS
(Jackson, Miss) - A group of Mississippi's African American Republicans, led by Charles Evers former Mayor of Fayette, MS and current member of the MS Republican Executive Committee, will gather for a press conference in the rotunda of the State Capitol on Monday, February 28, @ 2:00 PM in order to demand an apology from Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Howard Dean for his racially insensitive remarks earlier this month.
On February 11th, in a speech to members of the DNC Black Caucus, Dean remarked, "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room?" Then he added: "Only if they had the hotel staff in here."
Charles Evers, civil rights advocate and brother of Medgar Evers, will serve as spokesman of the event. Chairman Dean will be at Jackson's Clarion Hotel tomorrow evening for a fundraiser benefiting the Mississippi Democratic Party.

Not his fault - New Hampshire has only 3% black population, so as Governor he never had to watch his words.
I'm sure Howie has "lots of friends who are black".

Does anyone else find it ironic that it is Republican Blacks in Mississippi that have enough self worth to demand an apology here? I thought us Mississippi folks were the real racist bigots that were trying to keep Blacks on the proverbial plantation. How is it that Blacks in the more "enlightened" States don't recognize a spit in the face comment by one of their Democratic heroes?

Dean's a laugh riot. He has no political skills what so ever. He will ensure that the Republican party will be the majority party for at least another four years, if not longer.

Hooooo-boy, and it's just beginning! Go, Howie! EeeeeeYAAAHHHHH!!
To: Motherbear
It would seem that the only time that Dean does NOT have his foot in his mouth is when he is changing feet!
