Biden Says Hillary Is "most Difficult Obstacle" in 2008 Presidential Stakes The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Joseph Biden says any Democrat who wants to run for president in 2008 should keep in mind these three words: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"I think she'd be incredibly difficult to beat," the Delaware Democrat said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." "I think she is the most difficult obstacle for anyone being the nominee."

The former first lady and Democratic senator from New York insists that she plans to run for re-election in 2006. But speculation persists that she might run for president in 2008.

"She is likely to be the nominee," Biden said. "She'd be the toughest person and I think Hillary Clinton is able to be elected president of the United States."

Biden said he is thinking about running again, 20 years after his first failed bid for the White House because "there's a lot at stake."

This man, who is a known plagarist (a/k/a word-thief), would never pass the smell test in a solidly red state. But I do hope that lots of Dems run in the primaries. It will be interesting to watch them fight amongst themselves against her for the brass ring. (Let's see if they get the same criticism that Lazio got if they try to "invade her space"!)

Are you kidding? Nobody is going to run against her unless they are hand picked by she and Bill to "give her legitimacy". They will be show pieces for her to easily defeat.

No, this thing will be stage managed from the very start, but that isn't going to help her much. The fun thing is to watch the far left go nuts when she starts touting conservative values.

There's another post about a NYTimes article on Dean. It sounds like the walls at the DNC are already beginning to close in around him. He might not be long for that job, which bodes well for Hillary and not for the move-on sector of the party.

I'm so very, very sick of the Clinton's. However, I fear that she is making herself electable as no one remembers what a socialist she is as she wears her new "moderate" clothing. Too bad she's not more like Lillian Hellman, who said she couldn't cut her conscience to fit "this year's fashion".

She is flip flopping early in hopes that by 2008 the masses will forget. No way. This crap will follow her to total defeat. No right mind conservative will change their mind to go for that broad, and she will attract only the same brain dead that Lurch did. We win again.

Brave centrist/conservative Hillie will save the dems from the evil schemes of the ultra-left wing progressive liberals who are trying to destroy the party (that's why she appointed Screamin'Deanie)!

Biden might have a chance except for the fact that he is a dumb f***, lying scumbag, neocommunist, anti-American, negative opportunist who never, never tells the truth or acts in other than party/self-interest. But, he knows that and he knows that everyone else knows that, as well.

I hope you are right but am afraid that women will vote for her in large numbers. No offense to anyone here but many women still vote with their hearts not their heads. The security mom may be gone by that time and those women who are not deeply politically affiliated may think they owe it to her or that she will be representative of them.
If women go for her in the 60% range that will be quite a hurdle to overcome.

Add to this the usual liberal groups and we have an enormous task ahead.

Hill is content to bide her time with Dean over DNC....until she's ready to install her man/woman. The nomination is hers, her people will run the D party, and Bill will be her campaign manager.

Biden is treading lightly on what he knows is solid ground. She isn't just an 'obstacle' - she's a given.

Yes, I hope so.

But she (it) will have the full weght of the media, the gays, Hollyweird, and George Soros' money behind her (it). Not to mention her (its) proven abilities to launder donations from the Chinese communists and her (its) ever-present team of war-room attack dogs.

Excellant observation....I'll bet the Clintons are
hoping they don't get an endosement from little Al
Gore....Remember, he endorsed Dean...and talk about
having no class....the guy (Gore) never bothered to
notify Liebermann of his intentions...just let him out
to dry...and Liebermann was only one who had the right formula to unseat Bush..but Dems too dumb to know it..
