I have not seen any of the nominated films.
Have you?
And I don't plan to watch the Oscar's either.

I was thinking the same thing! It's very hard to have it both ways....words come back to bite.....and those will come back to bite Biden.

MO is just appalling on MTP Ah, give her a break today. ;-)
I actually think Maureen was pretty mellowed out today. Safire must have slipped her a quaalude in her rum and coke.
She was laying low, almost cool............ and slightly serenely politically mollified.

Didn't see IT but from what you say, the bitch was definitely sedated.Yeh, Maureen looked like she just had excellent sex and a good smoke right before the show!
Come to think of it, Russert looked pretty "laid back" too.

an anti-cockfighting measure backed by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton One should never hear the name "Hillary" and that other word in the same sentance.

Can't let this one slide by.
William Cohen is on Wolf Blitzer's show. Wolf just asked him about the "transformational" events in the Middle East.
Cohen: "Well, yes. It's remarkable. We just had the voters turn out in Iraq, before that in Palestine. We're seeing people rise up and say 'NO' to occupying powers. That applies to the United States in Iraq. And to Syria in Lebanon...."
Sheesh. Is it too much to ask these Dems RINOs not to compare the U.S. to SYRIA?!

Ooooohh, when Dowdie uses the "dominatrix" delusion er allusion, Timmy asks her "Who called it that?" Sounds like Mo Dowdy has been hitting the scotch bottle again, and is a bit jealous of the pretty, brilliant, and powerful Dr. Rice. Shall we remind her of Clinton's choice as Secretary of State?

Cohen was a terrible SECDEF. I was at the Pentagon when he was there, and people generally hated him. He was indecisive, wishy washy, two-faced, and he let his wife run around like some sort of self-appointed USO Show on wheels.
To: Mo1
She is not funny .. she is not honest and she comes off as a arrogant ignorant witch
In other words, a fairly accurate representative sample of the current Democratic Party.

This is Cohen's wife,
Janet Langhart. When she traveled, the word to the Protocol divisions was that she was "an extremely high maintenance DV."
She always requested a flight suit on all her visits for some reason--I guess it made her feel sexy or something....

" it is hard to find clothes like Madeline Dingbat wore!"
I don't know, the Salvation Army has a lot of 70's sofa covers just waiting for the right buyer.

Biden made those idiotic comments before the Iraqi's voted.
Now we see the changes coming all over the middle east.....Egypt allowing a real election, and other countries feeling the effect of Iraqi's voting in their country.....Lebanon......things are getting better......
IOW, THEY'RE WORKING, BIDEN!!!

I read the transcript and you bet she said you know.......
See if you can find it in the Meet the Press archives, if there is such a thing. It's only about a week old.

You have it exactly right!!! But, at some point Mr. Dean is going to have to leave the safety of planned speeches, and friendly audiences, and then he will find out what the real world is all about. I can't wait to see how he responds to the Question of why he hates Republicans!!!
To: self_evident
In other words, a fairly accurate representative sample of the current Democratic Party. As annoying as I think many in the Dem Party are .. I don't walk away saying what bleep like I do with Maureen Dowd
She is a spiteful bitter aging witch
