I remember the reference, but do not remember the book or author. I checked Rush's web site, but did not see it there, either.
Sorry to see anyone on FR even discussing ugly totally untrue gossip about Dr. Rice.
This after the dems say we do not use diplomacy enough..
He is a dangerous snake in the grass because he is an attractive face. You are probably right in that he is running for veep, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get the nod.
Hillary will be the Dem nominee in 2008 and the odds-on favorite to win. She will take all the states Kerry and Gore did and challenge the GOP in Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, Nevada, Iowa, and yes, Arizona. It is her election to lose.
Bayh "like Edwards, seems to have no principles." Just what Hillary would choose to have as running mate imo. Lieberman parked his when he ran w/Gore and now is seeking to regain his virginity.
My interest is that this low-class stuff is making it into the mainstream press.
Boy, Mo Dowd is really whiney.
FR ought not be in the business of helping this ugly garbage get more attention.
'Boy THREE columnists from the NYT, there's some balance for ya!!'
To be fair and balanced, next week he'll have a columnist from the WSJ, 1 from the WA Times, and Orin or Podohertz from the NY Post. Ya, sure, you betcha - only if pigs fly.
Friedman is pretty optimistic. Russert asks if it could tip back into civil war (he hopes).
she is just anti-cock
Couple of days ago Brit showed in his final closing segment with some mullahs watching Bush speech while eating - cheering for the first part of Bush speech and then shockingly spitting whatever on their mouth after hearing the later part. Very Funny to watch.
Did she say "y'know"?
Dan
Maybe Conscience of a Conservative by Barry Goldwater, but it was published before he ran in 1964.
I just read the Telegraph interview and he didn't say anything like that so the reporter inserted what he called "rumor" to egg on dissent.
Thanks for the clarification. Today's reporters too often try, unfortunatey, to make the news instead of reporting it.
unfortunatey = unfortunateLy
Thanks to your post about MoDo appearing on the MTP panel I just turned to see what she had to say.
Wearing black herself, she got laughed at by Safire and Friedman when she snidely brought up Condi wearing a "dominatrix outfit" (her words) and she defensively cited the WaPo article.
What an idiot.
I've seen enough. LOL
