Yes He was, but Saul of Tarsus, probably one of the 4 or 5 most Godly men ever to have lived, said neither circumcision, nor uncircumcision is of any meaning. He said true circumcision is that of the heart, not of the body. I believe what he wrote.

Who the Hell is he to write to anyone, anywhere? He wrote one set of rules to the converts through Judaism and another set of rules for non-Judaic converts.
He was(is) typical of all converts from anything. The converted are always the most fervent. What gives his "vision" anymore legitimacy than any other individual who claims to have seen Jesus?
