When a lawyer can dismiss any juror he wants to, then the ones who are left, are for all practical purposes, hand picked to have the attitude the lawyer wants.

In the OJ Simpson case, the defense lawyers removed the most intelligent and skeptical of the 4000+ jurors in the jury pool leaving only the most stupid (and I use this word literally) and most gullible and eager to believe in the anti-black police conspiracy theories put forward by the defense.

In any meaningful tort reform, this practice of stacking juries by elimination must be stopped.
