Flies have already diverged. Look at the difference between horse flies and fruit flies. They are different species, perhaps different Genus.

According to this article they live 37 to 70 days. Assume they reproduce every 50 days. That is very generous to your argument since they are sexually mature long before then. That gives us roughly 7 a year. 7 x 150 (# of years you gave) = 1050. That is a lot of generations and I think my calculation is very conservative. If you don't agree don't make snide remarks spell out why you don't agree.
