The point is that the biological systems resemble known designed systems.

That's just plain not true. Biologically evolved organisms don't resemble human designd objects at all. At best, we have started emulating natural designs, but poorly.

Evolved designs are quite different from engineered designs. The differences are unmistakeable and obvious.

Anyway the point is addressed specifically in Meyer's article. You can go back and look at it. You don't need a cut & paste, right?
