I believe the geology shows a GLOBAL flood. And I believe the Bible accurately records a GLOBAL flood.

Two problems with that.

1. Geology shows at most, frequent local flooding (with large date variations) along waterways. There are many places which show no evidence of flooding. They do show glaciation periods however. In the area I live, there is no flood evidence since the last glaciation. We have geological evidence that it ended about 9000 years ago.

2. The Bible is hardly an accurate historical record.
